Golf - The Ultimate Book

The most renowned and spectacular golf resorts in the world with expert ratings.
With lots of background information and amusing episodes from the history and world of golf.
The perfect gift for all golf enthusiasts and those who want to become one.
Golf is becoming increasingly popular. Thanks to its superstar Tiger Woods, the sport has lost its reputation as a dusty pastime and has finally been able to call itself an Olympic sport again since 2016. But despite all the professionalization and opening up, the social prestige has remained. Golf clubs still attract celebrities - from Justin Timberlake to Catherine Zeta-Jones - who use every spare minute to improve their handicap.
Although traditional golf clubs such as the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews remain the benchmark, the choice of dream destinations for golf enthusiasts has multiplied with exciting new golf courses and golf resorts. The Coffee-Table-Book "The Ultimate Book - Golf" presents the most exclusive, sophisticated and spectacular golf resorts from around the world. Resorts that not only score points with their sophisticated layouts in charming landscapes - whether against an Alpine mountain backdrop or on tropical sandy beaches - but also with fantastic rooms, outstanding cuisine and comprehensive wellness offers.
There are also exciting stories from on and off the greens and fairways - of stars and cheats, club makers and space travelers, gangsters, boxers and billionaires. Because golf is more than just a sporting pastime, it is a lifestyle to which this book pays detailed homage.

He has lived on the island of Grado between Venice and Trieste for twenty years and writes novels, crime thrillers and non-fiction, including the bestsellers "Laura, Leo, Luca and I - How to Survive in an Italian Family," "We are Papa!" and "The Italian Principle: This is How Happiness Works!" The historical Venice crime novel "The Doge's Spy" was voted best debut of the year by the authors' and critics' association HOMER, and his blog postausitalien.com is the most-read German-language Italy site. Maiwald spends most of his free time on the beach; in Grado there are seven kilometers of fine sand.
